    Education and Advocacy: I provide information and education about the dying process, end-of-life options, and resources available to support both the individual and their loved ones. I advocate for the individual's wishes and ensure that their voice is heard and respected.

    Grief Support: I offer support to family members and loved ones as they navigate the grieving process. I provide resources, comfort, and a listening ear to help them cope with their loss and adjust to life after the passing of their loved one.

  • The experience of caring for my mother during her final days battling cancer deeply impacted me. As her caregiver, I witnessed firsthand the physical and emotional challenges that come with end of life care. Despite the pain and sadness, there was something beautiful about the process of helping her find peace and comfort in her final moments.

The hospice team focuses primarily on medical care, while the End of Life Doula provides additional support and companionship for the dying person and their loved ones.
